Role Overview
Apple Cloud infrastructure is building the next generation of distributed storage systems. This role focuses on storage infrastructure and reliability, operating at massive scale across globally distributed data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build: scalable, fault-tolerant storage services and tooling.
- Optimize: block storage performance, reliability, and throughput.
- Operate: distributed systems across multiple data centers.
- Collaborate: with cross-functional teams for system design and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 - 18 months of industry experience in software/infrastructure engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of Linux internals and systems programming concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Go (preferred), Rust, Python, or Java.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and virtualization.
- Strong teamwork mindset and ownership of complex systems.
